• Royal Mail Price Rise (April 2010)

You will probably know that Royal Mail put their prices up yesterday (6th April). As we keep our postage rates as low as possible, we need to follow suit to remain in business.  The good news is however, that we shall wait until May before increasing our postage charges to give you a chance to stock up. New prices for within the UK are as follows: under 0.5kg is £2.50 and over is £3.60, with postage free on orders over £60.  Postage worldwide will remain on a ‘by weight’ basis and includes the cost of Royal Mail’s AirSure for added security.  Please contact us if you have any questions about these changes.

• One Day Anniversary Sale (February 2010)

To celebrate our anniversary this February, every product on our website is going to be reduced for a day.  The sale will start at 12.00am GMT on Sunday 7th February and end 11.59pm GMT the same day (give or take a few minutes).  We must admit that we’ve been a bit cheeky and moved our anniversary two weeks earlier.  We thought you might like sale prices in time for Valentine’s Day, so we hope you don’t mind. Giving a totally natural and organic present is a great way to show how much you care.  Get in early to guarantee your bargain, as our stock is limited for this sale.  Having held off the VAT increase for a month, after the sale, product prices will go up slightly in line with the current rate.  So make a note in your diary and visit us on Sunday to get some wonderful products at fantastic prices.

• New Products and Xmas postage dates (November 2009)

Ready for Xmas this year, we are introducing a new range of products. Therapeutics has been specifically developed to treat dry problem skin, eczema and psoriasis. Check out the full Therapeutics range on our website. All orders within the UK are posted Royal Mail First Class. As the last postage date before Christmas is 21st December, please get your orders in before midnight on the 18th to ensure you receive your products in time. If you want your order to travel beyond the UK, the last posting dates are a bit sooner. For Western Europe it is the 11th December; while Eastern Europe, the USA, Canada and Japan is the 10th December. For the rest of the globe, the last postage date is the 4th December. You will probably have noticed by now that Royal Mail put their prices up last month at the start of the new financial year.  After much deliberation, we have decided to increase our postage and packaging charges in line with Royal Mail.  However, we have kept these increases as small as possible to reflect the actual cost of postage.  New prices for within the UK are as follows: under 0.5kg is £2.15 and over is £3.25, with postage free on orders over £55.   Postage worldwide will remain on a ‘by weight’ basis, but will now include the cost of Royal Mail’s AirSure for added security.  Please contact us if you have any comments about these changes.

• New Year, new prices (January 2009)

Happy New Year to all our visitors.  For us, 2009 brings a price change from our supplier, Essentially Yours - the first in nearly 10 years.  This means our product prices will increase in the near future.  However, while we have stock from before the price change - it will be sold at the old price.  So, take the opportunity to stock up on your favourite products now.   Also new for 2009 are some Combination Skin and Oily Skin formulations - adding orange, kiwi, cucumber and lime into the mix.  Look out for these in the coming weeks.

• Come and support Children Cancer Awareness on 26^th May (May 2008)

We will have a stall (weather permitting) at "Donovan's Day" the 2^nd annual fun day supporting children cancer awareness to be held on Bank Holiday Monday (12-6pm) at the Caribbean Cricket Club, Scott Hall Road, Leeds 7.  "This very special day is to help highlight the suffering of teenagers and youngsters with cancer and terminal illness.  Inspired by his courage and determination to carry on leading an active and fulfilling life in the face of cancer, Donovan's family and friends welcome everyone to enjoy a fun filled day.  Donovan's battle with cancer ended on 10^th December 2006 after 18 months.  Hopefully, one day, no teenager will have to suffer again."

• Dispatches: The Truth About Beauty Creams.  Did you see it?  (May 2008)

Channel 4 has just aired (12^th May) a programme about high street anti ageing products.  It looked at the claims they made, discussed them with professionals and did a small trail on 5 leading brands (costing between £20 and £250).  The programme made very interesting watching and we are curious in your thought about it - comment here.
